Chris - the BARC briefing note does not apply to the CGRC races.

We are using the same procedure that applied at our first BARC meeting at Croft, which is line with 2.5.3 of our Regs:-

"The Organisers may dispense with a formation lap, with the green flag lap commencing from the assembly area. At the end of the green flag lap all cars will then take their position on the grid as specified on the grid sheet. Once the grid is complete the 5 second signal will be given and the start as per V. of 2.5.2 above."

BARC will be issuing a race day bulletin on the virtual noticeboard to confirm this. It will also confirm the grid compostion for the 3 races.

The Club will be issuing a revised briefing note very shortly covering both matters.

Apologies for the confusion.
