Following the success of our previous Awards Dinner events, the 3rd CGRC Awards Evening Dinner will be held at the Hellidon Lakes Golf and Spa Hotel on Saturday, 12th November 2016.

This will enable the club to appropriately recognize and congratulate the CGRC championship winners, runners up and special awards winners with recipients receiving their individual championship trophy from the guest speaker - Paul O'Neill (a prominent BTCC competitor and presenter).

This prestigious black tie event will be held at the Hellidon Lakes Golf and Spa Hotel on the Warwickshire / Northamptonshire border near Daventry, close to the M1 and M40.

Hellidon Lakes Golf and Spa Hotel is a 4 star, 110 bedroom hotel and conference centre set in a spectacular location.

The range of facilities at the hotel available include:-

  • 18 hole golf course
  • Swimming pool
  • Gym / fitness centre
  • Spa / beauty therapy centre
  • 4 lane bowling alley
  • Fishing lakes
  • Helicopter landing pad (if required)


There are currently 60 bedrooms allocated to our function.

The first release of 40 rooms will be available from 12th August. Should you miss this allocation, the second release of 20 rooms will be available from 23rd September

  • Bed and Breakfast is at a discounted rate of £85 for a double room and £80 for a single room. Bedrooms can be booked and paid direct with the hotel on 0845 074 0060. 
  • All bookings must be pre-paid. Room bookings should mention the date, hotel name and event name "Caterham Graduates Awards Dinner".
  • Upgrades and extended stay options are available at the time of booking
  • Entry to rooms is from 3.00pm on the 12th and are to be vacated by 11.00am on the 13th November.
  • Should all 60 allocated rooms be pre-booked, any additional rooms will be at the best rate available with Hellidon Lakes.

EVENING itinerary:-

  • Commences at 6.30pm
  • Drinks reception in the Marston Suite Lounge (welcome drinks provided)
  • Transfer to the Marston Suite (seated at tables of 8 or 10 people/table)
  • Introduction from Chris Dawes - who commentates at many of the major UK race circuits as well as on Motors TV
  • 2016 season highlights / lowlights video
  • 3 course meal (with 3 choices for each course) with tea or coffee and 4 bottles of wine per table
  • Special Guest Speaker:-  Paul O'Niell
    •             - British Touring Car Championship driver from 2001 to 2013
    •             - British GT Championship driver - 2007 to 2014
    •             - Current ITV 4 Commentator
    •             - Appeared in BBC "Top Gear"
    •             - Appeared in series 2 of Classic Car Rescue
    •             - Taken 2 wins in the Mazda MX-5 Super Cup.
  • Presentation of awards compered by Chris Dawes and presented by Paul O'Neill.
  • Dance / drink / socialise to disco
  • Event closes at 1.00am
  • Bar lounge open for residents for as long as required

Tickets cost £60 per person and can be booked through the Graduates' Event Booking System.

Please note you must update your race schedule using the "definite" box for the "Awards Evening - 12th November"  to enable payment to be made via the club payment system in the club website.



It is anticipated that the event will be booked up quickly and tickets will be available on a first come first served basis.

Please book early to avoid disappointment
